From Kingston to Kano

Kano Supporter and Wimbledon CSC member Matthew Boyle took to the streets of Kingston, completing his half marathon in an impressive 1 hour 45 minutes and raising over £1,000 for The Kano Foundation in the process.

Individual fundraisers like Matthew’s are hugely important to our charity, especially during tough economic times, when the cost of football tickets is out of reach to many. The sum raised will go directly to ensuring more children and young people can enjoy the magic of matchday at Celtic Park.

Martin told us;

“There’s a longstanding history between Wimbledon CSC and The Kano. I’m delighted to raise a grand total of £1240 and help keep football free for kids at Celtic Park. Thanks to everyone who donated and sent messages of support.”
